Jan joined Russell Advocaten in 1995, after finishing his Law study at the VU University Amsterdam. During his study, Jan specialized in labour law. He provides legal advice to medium-sized and large companies on matters relating to corporate law and labour law.
He is a regular writer of articles on legal issues and the co-author of the books De Regelen der Arbeidsverhouding (Rules and Regulations of Labour Relations) and Handboek Ontslagrecht (Handbook on Termination of Employment). He also holds (in-house) seminars in order to prevent or solve labour law conflicts at an early stage.
